There is no toy
I bought some easter eggs on clearance yesterday for next year. They have soccer, baseball, football and basketball designs on them. Easton found them in a bag in the bedroom and Jon overheard him say, "There is no toy in them. Jesus must have taken them." We got a chuckle out of that. He comes up with the funniest things to say.

Fun at Sprout
We went to sprout again yesterday. We actually got a membership b/c we love it so much so now we can go anytime. The kids love that place.
It is so fun for them to play and the place rocks. They have really thought of everything. I highly recommend the place. I did not get any pics of Easton but will next time.
Easton is eating us out of the house
Since Easton was sick with the flu 2 weeks ago and did not eat for 3 days and had a light appetite the rest of that week, he is making up for it now. The kid is non stop eating. It is funny cause he keeps saying more, more. I want dinner. I am also trying to fill him up with more filling foods to help him go between meals. I was reading this book on nutrition and it was crazy how some of the foods we eat make our bodies want more food. It is a total chemical thing. So we are trying to get the stuff out of our house and go with stuff that is obviously more healthy and more filling. It is wonder why some kids snack on crappy foods all day b/c they are eating empty things. I thought we ate pretty well but now we are trying even harder. Plus Makenlee knows no different so she is sorta a clean slate. If she eats healthy then she will not know what she misses.

Mommy Lights...
So mommy got her first speeding ticket today. Bummer!!! Easton said look mommy lights. I said yes, Easton, pray mommy does not get a ticket and that he would have mercy on mommy But she did. I still very confused as he told me I was going 45 in a 30. But he told me he would only say I was going 35 so it would not go on my record and I could go to court. What???

Yet another egg hunt
I forgot Easton's basket so he was white trash w/ a plastic bag. At least it was not a wal-mart bag. Ha.
Easton Dancing
Easton dancing to Jesus is my superhero. He loves to dance and it is fun to see him praising Jesus. He has this music video so he was imitating some of the moves in the video.

Caught in the act
Easton being silly outside
What a beautiful day and yet another egg hunt...
Well, Easton did another Easter egg hunt. I could not resist as it was a beautiful day and he was wanting to be outside and run. So we we went to a egg hunt. He really enjoyed this one. Probably because it was so much warmer then the last few days or he has hunting for eggs down pat. Plus Mommy and Daddy love the candy. Ha.
Torturing the kids for a picture
I love to take pictures and of course I love pictures of my kids. Well, at times I think I torture them with my picture taking. I think one of the hardest things is to getting them to look at the same time and smile. I feel like a 12 ring circus trying to say smile, shake a toy or something to make noise to get their attention while pushing the camera button at the same time.

Friday's Easter Egg Hunt
We went to an Easter Egg Hunt today with Leah and Eli. The boys had fun looking for eggs. It was a little cold but Easton did a little better today then yesterday. He loves finding them and of course eating or playing with inside. But what kid wouldn't.

What do you do?
Today Makenlee was shaking one of Easton's Easter eggs he got at a Easter egg hunt. She is laughing and shaking. She was loving the noise it made. I was cooking in the kitchen. I hear this shake shake. Then splat the egg drops on the floor and opens. Then I hear smack smack. She was eating a jellybean. My hands are covered in chicken juice and I am like oh, no. What do I do get the jelly bean out and risk giving my daughter salmonella or do I let her eat it. I run over to the sink wash my hands as quick as I can and then ran to get the jellybean out and she had pretty much chewed it up and swallowed it. Oh, well. Her first jellybean at 11 months. GREAT!!! She is so the second kid. With Easton I would have about freaked. The things you let go w/ the 2nd kid.

Easton's first real sickness
Easton got bit by the flu-bug this weekend. It was the first weekend Jon had off in 6 months. We had all these plans and we were even talking about driving to the beach for a mini-vacation. Hindsight glad we did not do it. He was throwing up and feversish all weekend. Finally woke up this morning not feverish and back to his normal happy self. He was so sad to look at just laying on the couch with his sad little eyes all weekend. I am praying we all don't get any residual effects. My house smells of Lysol so I am hoping all is clean and free of sick germs. This was Easton's real sickness so I am thankful he has been spared prior to this as I could not imagine. I can handle snot but throwing up for 2 days straight really wipes a mama out cleaning and washing everything it touched. Plus the stinch.

Makenlee's New Tricks
The progression of standing up by herself holding onto nothing.
It is hilarious to watch her do it.
