Nella Story's

There is a new blog that I have on my reader now. I stumbled upon on it 3 weeks ago. I have no idea why these blogs draw me in but they just do. Check it out, here is the first post I read. The blog is called Enjoying the Small Things and the post I first read was the story of Nella Cordelia. What a beautiful name.

Grab the whole box of Kleenex because you will need it. I balled like a baby. Try and read it when you have 10 minutes to yourself and your kids are sleeping or something because you need to soak it in.

I take so much from reading blogs and other people's stories. I hope you add this to one of your fave blogs to read and you pray for this family.

You never know what you will find

Easton LOVES Bolt and I got him some stickers from work last week well when I went to check on him before I went to bed that night this is literally what I found. He had them laying out on his pillow.

Way Back Wednesday

This was June 2009 at a b-day party. This was totally unprompted just caught the love on camera. These 3 shots are priceless...on days when they are scraping I need to remember this. I know deep down they love and adore each other.
So blessed to have these 2 lovebugs.
She loves her Braa-Braa

So endering!!!
(yes, I realize my son is in a pink towel...get over it. It was the towel that was dry.)

My 2 cuties

M loves going to E's class for the parties. She feels like such a big girl and of course gets to partake in the treats.

Way Back Wednesday

Both kids love to sit at the computer sometimes and look at the pictures that run like a slide show as our screen saver. It is fun to look at photos of the kids and reminisce. Anyway, today this one come across and I had forgotten about this lovely day

So I thought I'd start something called Way Back Wednesday and share with you some of the silly things these kids have done.

This was Nov. 28, 2007
Easton was 2 months away from being 3 years old

I thought he was taking a nap.....

No, he trashed his room and then.....

Markered all over his face and then fell asleep....

For the record some of this was in his closet on a shelf. He climbed up on a plastic tote and took games and markers down that he is not supposed to have unless he was supervised.
I wonder why?

Good times....

Why!!!??!!

You may wonder why I all of sudden posted all these things that have happend over the last few months. Well, I plan to make a blog book from Blurb and so I needed those post there. Also for some reason when I am home it takes forever to download pictures but when I go to work on my break I can download them rather quick. Who knew a hospital computer could be so quick.

Father/Daughter Dance

Jon took Makenlee to her first dance last Saturday. It was a Father/Daughter Dance. She was so excited to dress up and go on a special date with her Daddy.

Mommy even let her wear lip gloss. She got herself a little purse to put her things in.
She was so excited to be a big girl.

Snow in January

It really has never snowed as much as it has this year. But the kids enjoy playing in it for the day it lasts. It does not last very long.

Sledding down our hill. Yes, I am cheap and used a lid of a storage tote and a trash bag. But it works and the kids had fun.

M just laughed the whole way down

Yes, Easton wanted to wear M's Hello Kitty ear muffs. Silly boy!

5th Birthday

Easton requested Rice Krispy treats for his class party.

We went to Red Robin for his birthday his favorite place to eat. Red Robin was there so he came by when they sung Happy Birthday. The kids are no longer afriad of mascots...YEAH!!!

Party Time

After the Firehouse tour we went and had Easton's party at Firehouse Subs. It is right down the street and kept with the firehouse theme.

E wanted a Bolt cake.

Anniversry trip to Nashville

Jon and I got to go to Nashville for 3 days for our 8th Wedding Anniversary.
It was fun to relax, hang out, talk uninterrupted and really not cut anyone elses food but my own for a few days. Plus it is always nice to eat at all some of our favorite restaurants from CA and of course stock up on Trader Joe's.
We went to the Opryland Hotel. That place is awesome. So much to see. It is all inside but you feel like you are outside.

They still had some of the Christmas decorations out.
I loved this Natvivity.
