Stampin Fun

Easton did not take a nap today but played in his room for 3 hours instead, so when I went up to take him to the potty this is what I found all over his face. He found a stamp in his art container and decided I guess to stamp his face....Who needs paper when you can use your face, right? Oh the joys of being 2 again.

Happy Halloween

Easton was a pirate this year and Makenlee was a ladybug. We went and visited Trevor then went to a trunk or treat at a local church. We ran into Sierra there.

Easton's 1st ER visit today

I had to take E to the ER today at children's hospital. He was screaming for like 2 hours saying his ear hurt. I tried to get him to calm down and nothing worked. He kept saying, "It hurts." I felt so bad that I called the Dr. about a 1/2 hour after he started crying at 4pm and they said go to children's hospital. I was a little annoyed but it was close to them closing too. Anyway so we went down there. We were only there an hour. Super quick. He has a ear infection in one ear and a viral cough. Please pray for our little guy as we fly out in 4 days for CA and that all the pain subsides and he heals quick. I was crying as he was crying because I could not help him. I felt so bad for him. Then Makenlee was crying it was a great time for a few hours here.

Fire Station

We went to the Fire Station today For Eli's 3rd B-day. The kids all had fun jumping in the truck and trying on the fireman hats.

Easton liked driving the truck the best. He even told the firman to shut the truck door.

Miss Elizabeth loves to take pictures of Makenlee and hold her and give her lots of hugs and kisses. Makenlee is well loved by everyone.

Fun in the duck tub...

This is the little tub Makenlee takes a bath in now that she has outgrown the baby tub.

Well, Easton likes to sit in it with her when not bathing. He jumps in on her and she totally rolls with it. She is a brut. She takes him kicking and pushing her. She is a tough cookie. She is dainty but she is strong and holds her own.

Just reading a magazine

Easton had to go potty and so he did but he took his magazine with him. He was looking at pirate toys. Another funny thing is why do kids sometimes have to strip naked to go potty? I always think that is funny.

27 inches long

Our daughter is already 27 inches long. She has grown 7 inches in 6 months. Isn't that crazy. She is ready for a new car seat. Her little legs dangle out and she screams when she has to go into it.

6 months already...

Our baby girl is 6 months today. She brings us so much joy. I am so enjoying all the interaction we are all having with her too. She loves Easton and watches him so intently and the feeling is likewise. Today he got a book and read it to her. This week Easton was just rolling all over the floor cracking her up. She had the belly laughs going. Easton pretty much every morning asks to get baby up and he gives her lots of hugs and kisses thereafter. I cherish these special moments that we have as she is growing so quick.

Here she is eating her first solid food, bananas. She still does not get the whole solids thing quite yet. She spits it mostly out.
