Last Tatrau's for 2007

Easton went to Tatrau's w/ Haley on Friday. It was a busy one so I hear. He had fun of course. That place is awesome for energetic children like Easton. A big place to run and play priceless.

I had never seen him get up on this by himself. Of course he does it when I am not there.

More of CA

I have more pictures to post from CA. I am behind in my posts. Here I met my friend Melanie and her kiddos at the Irvine Spectrum. We rode the carousel, ate lunch, walked around and enjoyed Coldstone Ice Cream. Makena is 5 months older then Easton and Brody is one day younger then Makenlee. So it was nice to talk to someone in the same exact stage of baby as I am in.

The babies all ready for a stroller stroll. They were watching Easton and Makena on the carousel. We guessed Brody outweighed Makenlee by a good 5 lbs.

Silly Boys

A couple weeks ago we went over to Eli's to play. The next thing we know we see this coming though the house. Easton is the climber of all his friends. My friends have said that too. There are things Easton climbs on that his friends would never or have never climbed on. I swear Easton is part monkey sometimes. He even tries to climb the walls in the bathtub. Maybe he is spiderman. Ha. What was funny was we were back over at Eli's yesterday and Easton was in the car and Eli jumped on the top like this and I said to Leah, "Did he get that from Easton." She said, "Yep, he started doing it afterEaston did that a couple weeks ago."

I think we probably have one of the funniest kids in the world. Today Easton did not nap and he was playing in our bedroom. So I walk in and he is laying on the shelf. I have no idea why, maybe he though it might be comfy or maybe he was like hmm just my size. That is Makenlee's doll and I have no idea why he was laying with it.

Both Stacey and I had red on and Makenlee was in a stripe shirt and Casey was in stripe pants. We thought it was kinda funny...It is the CA girls except for the babes, both were born in TN though. Makenlee at least has some roots to CA since she was conceived there. Casey is 3 weeks now. He is getting bigger everyday.

I was in the kitchen baking today and I walked around the corner to check on the kids and I heard the piano on the leapfrog table going, I thought it was Easton playing. It was Makenlee standing up playing it. She has been pulling up on stuff but she stood at that table playing it for a good 15 min. She is so active.

Christmas at Chilhowee Park

It was cold last night but not as cold as last year. We had a good time with friends. There were lots of people but we did decorate some cookies. The lights were very pretty. Both kids were bundled up to keep warm.

Look what I found today!!!

Easton is pretty much I think over taking a nap. But I still take him up to his room everyday and tell him he has to have some rest time. I really don't care if he plays just as long as he is quiet and stays in his room for a couple hours. Well, this is out of control. Today this is what I found. It gets worse as you scroll down. I had a great laugh but I am also VERY mad he trashed his room and well, keep scrolling and you will see why.

Some of this was in his closet on a shelf. He climbed up on a plastic tote and took games and markers down that he is not supposed to have unless he is supervised. I wonder why?

Christmas time is here...

It is officially Christmas time here. We put the Christmas tree up Sunday night and decorated the house Monday. Easton enjoyed helping Jon put up the tree. He loved to play with the lights too. He even helped hang the ornaments too. Here are some pictures from this year and then 2 years ago before E's first Christmas. What a difference a couple years make...

Never now what you'll find....

I just went up to see if E was awake from his nap. Well, I found his underwear by the door w/ #2 in them. Then there was toilet paper with you know what all over his floor. It appears he tried to clean himself up not only in the bathroom but also in his room and then decided to go back to bed sans underwear. It is like a trail of ripped up TP in his room and the bathroom. He then took the vent off the floor so I had to then make sure he did not stuff some down there. That would be REALLY GROSS. Too funny!!! This gave me my laugh for the day. I'll spare you all the photos. I did not take any anyway!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We hope you all had a great turkey day. We had a great day with friends and eating a great meal. There was lots to be thankful for this year. We had a good time sharing those things around the table this year.

Making Pie

I was on pie duty for Thanksgiving. Easton helped me make the apple pie. He loved peeling the apples and stiring it all together. Here we are peeling, coring and slicing the apples. Thank God for pampered chef....

7 months

Makenlee is 7 months today. Time flies. She is so active. Pulling herself up to stand in front of the couch. Crawling more everyday. I thought E was active. This girl gives him a run for it. She keeps us on our toes these days. Can't wait to see what she is doing in the months to come. One thing for sure is being she is my second I enjoy her milestones more because I know what to expect and it is not uncharted territory and endless wonder of when is this going to happen or what happens at this age. It is so fun to watch her accomplish things and her excitement for her new abilities. I also now how fast they grow too so I can now sit and relax and enjoy each stage with her. She is so happy, loving and full fun. I feel blessed to have my two kids.

Noah and Easton

It was so fun to see the boys E was friends with since he was a baby while were down in Orange County. They are so grown up now. It was crazy. Here is Noah and E.

4 kids

You know how hard it is to get 4 kids to look at the camera at the same time. Here is Nicholas (a couple days older then E), Makenlee, Kate ( 1 1/2 yrs) and Easton. E and Nicholas have been friends since they were 6 months old when their mom Lisa and I met at Nurture. It was fun to see the boys play now that they are older now. They totally remembered each other even after not seeing each other for a year. They played so well together too.

Beach Babe

We went to the beach with Lisa, Nicholas and Kate Sunday. We went to Corona del Mar. Obviously it was Makenlee's first time. We bundled her up and she loved it. She loved to play in the sand and dig her little fingers in it and have it run through her fingers.

Here are Laura, Katie and the kids. Easton just woke up from a nap. He was a little out of it. They were happy to meet Makenlee and Godmother Katie was happy to see her God-kids.

Look what Makenlee is doing now

Today when Jon got Makenlee up from her nap he said that she was sitting up in her crib just smiling. Then I put her in her crib while I cleared off her changing pad she then sat up and then scooted over to the side of the crib and pulled up and had the biggest smile saying look at me. needless to say we will be lowering the crib now that she pulls up. She takes after her monkey brother. Great!!! She is not even 7 months and she is so active. She is crawling now too.

OC here we come

The kids and I will be in Orange County tomorrow. We are getting excited to go to Rock Harbor, eat at all our favorite places and see some of our friends....YIPEE!!!!
